Love & Beauty Swatches: Bronze Shimmer Shadow, Goldie Tones Palette, and Cat Eye Felt Tip Pen

Here are the swatches that I did for the makeup I bought from Forever 21:

Bottom Row (without flash)

1. Bronze Shimmer Shadow: very pigmented and shimmery, neutral, medium-toned burnished bronze with great color payoff, great quality

2-7. Goldie Tones Palette: low quality and very powdery. I had to apply several coats to get enough color for swatches, even over primer. The color wasn't consistent at all, probably due to the fact that they were too powdery.
  • Light matte beige - barely showed up on top of UDPP because they were similar in color
  • Shimmery white - decent color payoff
  • Bronze with gold overspray - overspray was gone with 1 swipe and color barely showed up
  • Purplish brown - didn't show up as dark as it looked in the pan but pigment was decent
  • Shimmery orange-copper - my favorite in the palette because it's a unique color; color payoff was good
  • Matte black - more pigmented than the rest of the colors but didn't go on consistently

8. Cat Eye Felt Tip Pen: -___- This was horrible. I had to go draw over and over again until it got dark enough to swatch but it was still EXTREMELY sheer and watery. DO NOT BUY.

Basically, I wouldn't recommend buying Forever 21 makeup unless you plan to give it to your niece as a present on her 5th birthday :( The only product I really liked Shimmer Shadows which have great color payoff and were surprisingly high in quality (and dirt cheap!).
