Yesterday, I spotted these Sinful Nail Art Polishes at Rite Aid for only $1.99 each! They come in tons of colors- I wanted to buy all of them! I need to cut down on my beauty purchases, though, so I only bought these five:

Minnie taught me that when you bat long eyelashes you'll have boys wrapped around your little finger... ;)

I've always been obsessed with long lashes... and for good reason! They're pretty much associated with youth, sultriness, and femininity. (Hey, there's a reason Minnie has eyelashes and Mickey doesn't.) But batting your eyelashes kind of requires having long eyelashes to bat- otherwise you're just blinking.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature can be cruel. I'm cursed with short, stubby, stick-straight Asian eyelashes :( Thankfully, there are tons of products out there to help make my lashes as long and fluttery as God intended:

3. Cinema Secrets Lady Wink Eyelash Curler ($30, Amazon.com) This patented, funky-looking contraption won't crimp or twist your delicate lashes, or cause breakage like traditional lash curlers. You can also heat the silicone to help your curl last longer.

 

4. Outer Eyelash Curler ($18, Alconeco.com) This lash curler is designed to help give your outer lashes some extra oomph!

Sephora Magnetic Makeup Brush Wand, $10

This is SO COOL- it reminds me of the interchangeable lipstick wand toy I had when I was a kid. Sephora created a travel brush stick made up of four detachable magnetic brush heads- brilliant! This will definitely save me some space in my bag by letting me leave some brushes at home. I have three makeup bags in my purse at all times but now *fingers crossed* maybe I can fit everything into two. (And maybe I won't end up with a hunchback like Quasimodo after a few more years of lugging all that crap around.)

I just wish that they'd make a bigger one for blush, powder, and contouring brushes, since this one only has eyeliner, brow, smudge, and sponge brushes. Hopefully the larger brush set will be coming up soon. For now, you can get this touch-up makeup brush stick at Sephora for a measly $10- definitely affordable by Sephora's standards.
