Rock & Republic Haul

The Rock & Republic eye shadows and powder that I ordered from HauteLook a week or two ago just arrived!


Tribal was missing but I guess they'll be sending that to me soon because they were low on stock.

The colors I ordered were:

Privilege: cool medium pink with gold shimmer
Love Rocks: warm medium pink with gold shimmer
Corset: cool shimmery pastel pink
Alloy: light gold shimmer
Wrath: medium-toned warm shimmery rosy golden brown
Cashmere face powder

This is the second time I bought R&R makeup from HauteLook (to see my first haul and review, click here.) I paid $7 for each eye shadow and $11 for the powder. The eye shadows normally retail for $28 and the powder's retail price is $44.

I can't do swatches because I'm going to give a few of these to my friend as a gift and I don't know which ones I'll be keeping yet. I think I'll give her Alloy (because I like Ammo better), Privilege (because I like the warm undertones in Love Rocks better), and Cashmere. Cashmere is way too light for my NC40 skin tone but she's an NC30, so it would work for her.

I really needed a face powder compact (I usually use MAC loose powder but it gets messy), but I ordered the wrong color :( I'll probably have to wait a few months for Rock & Republic to go on sale at HauteLook again but when it does, I'm definitely buying the powder in Chenille. This brand is definitely one of my favorites now because they're so pigmented and the packaging is so cool :)
